Notebook

Good Evening Peeps

I found a fabby challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog. Challenge #23 is to .... alter a notebook .... Hooray!! I loooooooooove altering notebooks. I have so many pieces of cut-off ribbon in the ribbon box ( or should i rather say vault) and a project like this is perfect to use up all those scraps (yip, I hoard ribbons too ;o) - Yay!! Here is my notebook:

The digi used is Button flowers from Sassy Cheryl's. I've combined two images and coloured it with promakers.  Ribbon used are scraps from my stash. I've inked the edges with Peeled Paint distress ink. Butterfly punchies are punched with a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and embellished with pearls. I've used Glossy Accents by Inkssentials on the buttons and parts of the pots to add a wee bit of dimension.  "Notes" letters are quickutz diecuts. Easy Peasy! ... and here's a close up of the buttons embellished with glossy accents:

I looooove the glossy shine ;o)
